The girl who loved him
The girl who cared
Was the only girl who could take him out of his despair?

He loved her so much
They couldn't even see
That this girl he loved
Was not his to be

They both loved each other
Now others could see
There love was forbidden, and just could not be

They tried and tried
And in the end she told him she loved him
And that her love would never end

He gave her a rose and said
I loved you from beginning to end
And I would never want our love to end

But this love is forbidden
It just can not be
