Religion

Had never really concerned me.
At all.

I didn't think about it,
and I was never sacrificed.

Fair trade.

I suppose being agnostic,
does count as religion, a little.

I used to pray a little.
But just a little.

And I only prayed
back then.

And perhaps
I should have prayed for more than a visit.

I should have prayed
for something completely different.

I should have told God,
"If you let me keep one thing in this life,

Please let it be that boy."
