Goodbye my Friend

You were my best friend
You and I were so close
I would tell you everything
That no one else knows

You use to make me smile
And would be there when I would cry
You use to be my world
Why did you have to die?

You were my pride and joy
The best dog I could have had
Even though you had some attitude
You were never ever bad

I remember the good times
And taking you to the park
And how you would intimidate people
With your playful, silly bark

I kept your favorite toy
It is safe in my top drawer
And even though I was your owner
You were never ever a chore

I miss you, my baby
I cant give you anymore hugs
I wont be able to pet you
As you lay asleep on the rug

But Ill remember you always
Which I have from the start
Just remember I will always love you
Youll always be in my heart
