Hopeless

All this poverty, hunger, murder and rape
It's no wonder society's drowning in hate
People we think we got it so hard
We think we've all been dealt the bad cards

And we don't give a damn about those who really need us

I keep trying, keep working hoping maybe I'll get somewhere
Keep wondering sadly why life's so unfair
Why am I alone in carrying this weight
Is this burden really my fate?
