No Tears

She stood by he side
Watching him slowly die
No tears fell from her eyes
Her heart was breaking inside
Her father was gone
What can she do
He keep her part of the family
Now he has left
The day of the funeral
She stood tall
Not one family member
Could see her there
Not one word did any of them share
Alone in the corner
With no one to care
Her father was gone
And to them she disappeared
Daddy held them together
And kept them strong
Now that he is gone
She does not belong
Years have gone by
No one word has she heard
To the rest of the family
She does not belong
Four years ago today
Her father pasted away
And still there are no tears on this broken
Hearted girl's face

    This is a good piece. You wrote it from your heart. To lose someone you love and the only to make you strong, really hurts and when that person leaves, the world seem to shatter to pieces.

    This was a sad heartfelt write. Loosing aloved one is always tough but when that person is the stitching that held all together it can be especially tough.

    Just one suggestion on this line
    Her father pasted away
    It may read easier if you used passed instead of pasted...but its jus a thought.
