Lost

by Nicola Barton   Jun 3, 2007

Hold my beating heart in your hands, you have control.
You have him, you hold his heart.
Your blushing and flirting has him in your clutches,
And I must stand aside and cry in shadows.
The gorgeous sun has set behind you and I'm in the dark,
Whilst you are surrounded in light and his attention.
You are beautiful with long hair and a figure so sweet.
And I stand ugly and pathetic and nothing to show,
Except genuine friendship and love but hey!
Who can I share this with, not Jay... you can.
You can share your bodily flirts and infectious love
And i'll ignore my feelings, I'm getting good at pretending.
