This World We Live In

Only in this world we live in
Would "true" beauty be fake
Where there's hate hidden beneath each grin
You know it's not real, if it's great

Only in a planet like ours'
would you be clueless to other's minds
No one knows the truth or scars
And what or who they try to hide

Only in this hell we walk on
Are feelings hidden way deep down
No one knows, for what we long
Just so we can be part of the crowd

for nowhere else far and near
do we struggle to hide
Because, unfortunately, only here
is everything a lie
