I Want To Be

Sometimes I think about what my life will be like ahead
will I live to my promises and every goal Ive set
Or will I fall back and settle for less
when I could be on top having everyone impressed

I just wonder will I give up
will I fall back when things get tough
Its just something I think about when future comes to mind
I hope to stay strong with only good things in time

With so many throwbacks going on in my life
my faith in a good future just doesn't look right
I pray that these setbacks don't jeopardize my goals
You could see my worries, in my face it shows

I don't want to be one of those persons who give up
I want to be strong when life gets rough
I don't want my children to be disappointed to wards me
I want to be the inspiration they see

    I guess this is what everyone wishes for :) i am sure that you're an amazing person, as close to perfection as is humanly possible :) and to be honest we woulden't be human if we didint make mistakes ;) thanx for the coments and yep i know what you ment :) as always this poem gets a 5/5 from me as i cannot help but to smile when i see you post a new one :))

    Hey Cathy

    Its amazing what your mind can do when things get tough. You will be surprised by how you overcome each challenge. And you are such a good mother that im sure you must be your childrens inspiration. To always do what is right and pick yourself back up and dust yourself down when people stamp all over us.
    Your children will also be your inspiration to keep going. Take care.
