My Only Love

My only love

I don t know why
But I pour my heart to you
I guess cause you seem cool
Or because you seem true

But why do I do it
For my heart to tear to shreds
I keep thinking with my heart
And not with my head

I keep saying it s no good
Guess I don t believe that
So I got to experience
For it to be fact

Once again my heart loses
And my head wins again
I guess my only love
Is a bottle of gin.

(I wrote this at 1:20 in the freakin morning so if it doesn't sound all that good this helps lol)

    Lol, I think it sounds good! I can totally relate to this poem and I think everyone can. About having your heart ripped over and over again and going back for more and trying to find an escape. I like this poem a lot. ^_^ And thanks for the comments on my poems!! It means a lot! :D
