Move On

by Kristin   Jun 10, 2007

She hid her tears, with all her will
Thinking that she had no freewill
She didn't know she could leave or that maybe soon
She would be free

She put up with so much and became so independent
That she distanced herself from his protection
As much as she loved him I know she did,
I knew I had to forbid
Her from seeing his face, and taking his pain
For the stress she lived through was too much to sustain

The sad look in her eyes when he'd tell her those lies
Brought paint to my heart
She doesn't deserve that, and never will
For she is the one
The one who is
Beautiful
Confident
Amazing
Brilliant
And so much more

She deserves more then what he gave, so now I am happy to say
She is free at last and gone to her old past
The one where tears and fears are not her worries
Now she can live her life to the fullest and remember that she
Deserves the fullest care in the world.
