If you fell

by grim   Jun 12, 2007

If you fell like a dying rose
I'll be there to hold you close
I'll pick you up and keep you near
I'll take you beyond the things you fear
Trust in me and rest with me
Lay with me in blissful serenity
Don't hold back those stinging tears
Let them drizzle down to the man who cares
I'll wipe them away from your lovely face
And chauffeur them to some distant place
I'll caress your arms while you rest your eyes
"Fear not my darlin' " I'll whisper all too kind
Your so beautiful as you lay there reborn
A sculpture more seductive than twilight's dawn
Mona Lisa could never hold a flame to you
A lie detector couldn't find facts more true
If you fell, you'll fall where you belong
In an everlasting love so suited and strong
