The Lullaby

by Ana   Jun 17, 2007

Go to sleep my little darkling.
As the stars above are sparkling.
Close your eyes into a dream world.
Imagining where your precious kitty's curled.

And tonight as you lie there sleeping.
I promise you, the gods are weeping.
At the sight of a beauty so pure.
That their hearts beat to the future.

And the night will grow oh-so still.
Caress your cheeks upon your own will.
And let the darkness become your comfort.
Let the moon wane, stealing your hurt.

So when the sun begins to rise again.
You're sweet soul, will rise, lacking pain.
And the world can once revolve around.
Sweet little darkling, her beauty unbound.
