All you People With Cars Listen Here.

All you people with cars listen here,
I'm writing to say how bad they can be,
It doesn't take much to lose control,
It isn't hard to lose a life.

All the young guys with the done up cars,
The ones who go cruising on Saturday nights,
Go out and have fun, do it by all means,
But go out to the salt pans to do dangerous things.

4 people were lost in Townsville last month,
2 boys of decency, their dignity lost,
drunken and stoned, they ran off the road,
with 2 lovely girls, their lives were too lost.

Than another in Townsville, a few weeks ago,
Tried drifting a corner and hit a pole,
His passenger lived, but was seriously hurt,
His life now lost, causing heartbreak for all.

I could go on forever with all these sad losses,
It's real out there, there are too many crashes,
There are no second chances, not in this world,
Nothing is justified when somebody dies.
