Black celebration

by broken wings   Jun 20, 2007

As black celebration
lines the streets
as my falling footsteps
in time with my dark_red heartbeat
darker and deeper
in a shining shadow
darker and deeper
waiting for tomorrow
are you the who-
when i say who cares
are you the who-
when i say who's there
slashing another stich open on my heart
it's not so new anymore
another i love you strangles my throat
but it's gotten old and worn
the pain is never re-placed
when you've loved and lost
the pain it still stays
when you've payed the cost
no matter how hard i try
i can't pull away from my possibilities
my hearts a puppet again
no matter how hard i try
i give in [i give up]
and memories make worse
what has been said
