Baby there's a purpose for your life
don't get so down, "i love you"
and i don't want to see you fall
so please break through.

I haven't talked to you in about a year
I don't know where you are
And I don't know if you made it through
But just remember baby, that I'm never very far.

We use to help each other
We use to be best friends
We helped each other through everything
And I wish that didn't end.

I just want to know, if you're okay
I miss you
And time is making me forget
All the hard times "we" got through.

You were so depressed
And you were in so much pain
But baby, all I ask is just to know
Where you are, and if you're alive today.

I'm upset, having lost this friendship
You always did mean so much to me
And now you're gone
Leaving only a branch of the missing tree.

    This is o sad and meaningful :'( even though the poem is perfectly written with a good flow and rhyme scheme, the last line, out of the poem, triggered it..its so sad...im sorry. 5/5

    Sad. losing a friend is irreplaceable i know the feeling of unknowing. i never got to say goodbye to my bestf riend she just left and doesnt reply to my sms and calls. :(

    Once again, absolutely amazing! one of the best poems i've read today.

    i really like those two lines.. my fave ones..
    they show much pain n longing for tht person..

    &&& this is EXACTLY how i feel about this one boy..
    my fave stanza
