Theres only so much you can do
to prove to someone your love is true
if they don't listen thats their mistake
thats the choice they simply make
So why do I feel like such a fool
thinking you would take care of the heart I gave you
Instead you took it for granted and broke it apart
playing with it as if it was an art

Wrapping your cruel hands holding it tight
you pounded and stomped it with all of your might
what was the outcome you expected to see
were you happy to witness the hurt you caused me
Did it give you a rush inside
to see that you made a loved one cry
was it satisfying as you watched me plea
to finally stop the hurt your causing me

When I lay-ed there on the bed crying my eyes out
regret, remorse have you ever felt
Looking at me knowing I love you so much
seeing the bruises you caused with your touch
How can you be so cruel knowing I had reasons to suspect
that you were doing me wrong again, you showed no regret
Instead you tried to turn the attention off you
It surprised me of the things you sometimes do

Instead of being honest knowing thats what I need
you lie in my face like its a disease
watching as the sadness shows in my face
running mascara all over the place
For someone that was always smiling everyday
how could you make me look this way
erasing my happiness and replacing it with misery
