Thunderstorm

Time stands still as I wait for the storm,
Hoping that it comes very soon.
Undying love waiting on the other side
Needing just a little push
Drops of rain start falling
Every moment becomes more tense
Ready and waiting for the thunder
Sharing every bit of its anger and pain
Time to finally take that step
Only God can save me now
Replaying each memory in my mind one more time
May the last gust of wind carry my last breath away
