Fairyland

by Lemonbread   Jun 22, 2007

As we grow old
We aim foward
Our future is to be told
Work to be done

But as we do grow
We seem to forget
The time a while ago
Back when we were young

We made a place
Where we'd go to run away
Where we knew every face
Where we felt safe

We ran through the sea
Laughing innocently
Playing free
Back in those summer days

Hide away in our forest
Smiling for hours
Our hearts defrost
From pain back home

Elders called us fools
They told us
To listen to the rules
Time to grow up

We didn't think of the future
Only the present
When we were on an adventure
Traveling through our magic world

You may forget
But I will never
In the place we met
In our Fairyland
