The Debt We Owe

Hardships come from day to day
This is the price we all must pay
But sacrifice can get us through
And let us all come home to You

Pain for a day is not so much
Long as we feel God's gentle touch
We give these things all out of love
And offer them to the Lord above

That's the way we all must live
Taking litte; ready to give
The Lord will give us what is due
Riches await, we have no clue

This is the love He gives us all
This is why we never fall
He tends to us with utmost care
Our sacrifice will pay His fare

I find it strange that I am not religios yet put a lot of thought in writing this poem..
