Lost in Sound

I've fallen to sound
I'm lost now forever
I know not how to love
Let me tell you of my endeavor

I once had a heart,
It was still beating, too!
But it was so viciously torn apart
By tears and anger and feelings untrue

I've had my moments
Of pure love and emotion
Now they are but torments
They've destroyed my devotion

Devoted I was
And true to the end!
But my heart was not made of glass
Before it broke it had to bend

They broke my will
My desire to live
Then time stood still
And my heart away I chose to give

Since then I've been hollow
Since then I've been cold
But I never gave in to sorrow
And my feelings were left untold

I've fallen to sound
But I am still real!
I long to be found
And shown how to feel
