If only..

Staring at the silent walls of my life
With past whispering from every brick
I felt breeze saying something to me
Moonlight played its old tricks
Walking on carpet of leaves
Sighing under my feet
I opened the door of my loneliness
Inside my heart and strained to see
I saw children playing on wet sand
Look thats me with smiling eyes
With a twinkle in them,cause she found
a new shell hiding in sunset's hue
how she watches the colours on shell, red,pink,blue

And now as I watch the vast sea
With waves rolling over and over
I get scared of it, feeling so small
And try to search that shell forever
To bring a smile in my eyes again
While life keeps filling them with pain
My heart doesn't sit quite for a while
Keeps telling me to forget it all
And run away from all the worries
and leave it all on destiny's call

If only I could fly wild and free
and count the colours of my feathers
And sprinkle moon dust on my dress
and watch it shine like heaven
If only I could be myself
With nothing else to bind me
If only it could happen
I would give my world for it.
