Remember that day
how loving we were
like just for that day
it all disappeared
Remember how delicate
I was in your arms
and the way our glares locked
trapped in the moment
just you and me and irony

remember the awkwardness
As we had loved for so long
and never did we tell
until then
Remember the desire
But the lack of courage
that led us to believe
it was useless
with just you and me and irony

remember how we blew it
Our last chance for romance
And we threw it all away
leaving you and me and Irony

    This was quite a beautiful piece, Marie. It actually reminded me of the movie, "Me, Myself & Irene", perhaps due to its refrain. How you showed the sentiments of a heartbreak captivated me to say the least. It was both bitter and sweet as well. I think you did a fine job with this work. Well done! 5/5 ~Marian

    This is very good, seen a couple grammer mistakes, capitalize the beginning of every paragraph, capitalize the first letters of all the words in the title" Just You And Me And Irony" and add periods and commas, but these are only suggestions, its good the way it is, i give it a 5/5!!! keep them coming!!!
