Ignorance of Failure

We wake to wipe the years
Of 'temporary' pain,
Remove the tears from our cheeks,
Live again.

What is the definition of anguish?
What is the extreme
Under which our hearts break
What forces us to embrace that cold surface
The will to endure this 'fate'.

Destroyed our own revolution,
Primates we should have stayed.
Yet we fight for peace,
Together now we pray.

For happiness,
Peace and love.
Too bad the ship is broken,
Oil destroys our last living white dove.

This ocean seperates us
Like the generations yet to fade.
Rebuild that broken castle
Pick up YOUR rusty spade.
