Why do we bother?

Life aye, why do we bother
its always the same
friendship, love and pain
another face, another name

a lifetime of lost loves
a life filled with tears
smiles, laughter and pain
and the same old stupid fears

a journey noone completes
a race without a win
a fight till the end
a fight with a pain to bring

after you have fought the battle
and your stood alone
what is left i ask
