Memories

by Ally Smith   Jul 2, 2007

Those smiles and tears,
Good times and bad.
Long days, short weeks,
Both happy and sad.

Memories

Walking arm in arm
Down those long, cold lanes,
Singing happy songs,
Singing hymnful praise.

Memories

Green fields, vast lakes,
New friends to family.
Snowy mountains, long waits.
I think of this happily.

Memories

Performances, Rehearsals,
The applause, the cries.
It came to an end,
But the memory won't die.

Memories

And now my friend,
We must depart.
But you must know
You will stay in my heart

For we have shared to much
Feeling, sights and healing.
To be forgotten
Is not an option.

Memories

From fights to fiends,
From beginning to end.
We take , we lend,
We will always be friends.

Memories

I will always love you,
You'll always be my friend.
You're in my heart,
We will not part.
For we share something special.
We share Memories
