Too Loud

by Peter Williams   Jul 2, 2007

A love like ours should always be allowed
I have one wish, I wish that I could die
That would stop my heart from beating so loud

I sit here crying underneath this cloud
I can feel the rain in this clear blue sky
A love like ours should always be allowed

This feeling of being hurt makes me proud
But still I wished you were here with a sigh
That would stop my heart from beating so loud

I promise that I'll keep what I have vowed
But still I'm waiting here wondering why
A love like ours should always be allowed

Your love blankets me like a nice warm shroud
But it all went away with a "bye"
That would stop my heart from beating so loud

I can see you smiling in that crowd
I hope that I will never again cry
A love like ours should always be allowed
That would stop my heart from beating so loud

The repetition made the poem strong.
    I liked that alot.

I loved the flow, and structure.
The rhyme was perfect, I always prefer flowing poems.

    So yeah, Good work.
    Full of emotion. :]
