Catherine's House

by Kitoura   Jul 2, 2007

Catherine's house.
To me, it was sanctuary,
A place I was accepted.
Wherever it was,
I was never turned away.
At Catherine's house.

Catherine's house.
I called her mother Mum,
and they called me mad.
I never went hungry.
It was the place I would always call Home.
It still is.
And it always will be.
It's Catherine's house.

When I wanted to escape,
I knew it's where I could go.
We would stay up late,
Watchin' TV, talking until morning came.
I remember watching Finding Nemo at 3 am,
Eating pizza a 2,
I never felt unwelcome,
At Catherine's house.

At Catherine's house.
I miss Catherine's house.
I went there not so long ago,
And it still is the same.
It's Catherine's house.
The place I feel safe,
The place I call Home.
It's Catherine's house,
And it's more than a place.
It's Catherine's house.
It's my house.
It's my home.
It's my whole world.
Catherine's House.
