My Only One

You are the only one that I truly love,
You are my soul mate sent from above.
The only one who can make me laugh,
The one who will stand up for me on my behalf.

Your touch causes shivers to run up my spine,
My body is here but my mind's on cloud nine.
When you are with me I still can't believe
That you love me too and don't plan to leave.

For us to last forever I will put up a fight
If these feelings are wrong I don't want to be right.
We were meant to be together, to be apart, never
We will be able to make it through whatever.

Always and forever, you will be my only one
A love so passionate, it can't be undone.
I knew from the first moment our eyes met
You are the only choice I will never regret.
