The Unicorn

by xArunaex   Jul 6, 2007

Long ago,
I once saw a
Milk-white, silver-gray, steel-blue
Mystical beast with a horn
On the centre of its forehead.

Walking gracefully and delicately,
Carefully placing each foot down in such a way
To avoid trampling flowers and other animals
Pure, good, gentle, wise, strong
And Noble beast that it was.

I who hear no
Speak no
See no evil
Should I have known the being before me
With so much power could exist?
He was beyond even my imagination
So he could only be real.

Seeing is believing
People say,
Well,
I am now a true believer,
Dedicated to the survival
Of the beast with the one horn.
