The End

by Iola   Jul 6, 2007

All things will eventually come to an end
Lets be frank and do not pretend
Each of my relations will turn to dust
For a soul to survive this understanding is a must

Letting go of all I know
Is exactly what I need to grow
Every end has a brand new start
I can love even thought we live apart

Every bond will eventually break
Like the first cut into a perfect wedding cake
Friends and lovers will come and then part
Might as well accept life's cruelest card

The circle of life will always come and go
Why then hold on to whatever you know
Even these words that I'm now going to send
Is a simple poem with a beginning and an end

Great poem 5/5, but I will never beleive that. Somethings are attached with unbreakable invisible chains. "I dont wanna break these chains"
