Home Sweet Home

by Sean Allen   Apr 23, 2004

I crawled within my home
And locked up all the doors.
But with them so, I was all alone
I cannot remember what I did it for.

I crawled into the family room
Bright crystalline walls surround
But dark clouds entomb
I would not like what is found.

The clouds began their entrance
Cold knives and sharp teeth.
Bitter pain; malevolence
Boil up from deep beneath.

I barricade the hallway
Jump into my bed
I just wish them to go away
As I bury my head.

But the demons all
Stab their swords so deep
My body begins to fall,
My mind begins to sleep.

But I awoke unmarked
The sun shined on what may
All doors were unlocked
And it was a beautiful day.

I guess it's your life poems that are different. They are so, mind-opening.

    Another great poem Sean.

it's deep and it's dark... you deserve the name Aching Soul as much as me.
    Keep it up Sean
