I Don't Care

by Andrew Morton   Jul 6, 2007

The ring he put on your finger
scars your skin
forever leaving a symbol
a constant reminder
a burden on your life
but you'll never remember
what went wrong.

as you walk down that isle
you can sense your guilt
of wearing a white dress
when your heart is black
as you look through the church
skimming row by row
you can see me in everyones eyes
you cant not hide

you can not hide from me
ill always find you
haunting you in your dreams
even after you awake
so now you understand
what its like
to live a nightmare
but i dont care

i dont care
that you're lonely
i dont want to hear
that you need me
i dont give a damn
that he left you
its none of my concern
just what you do

i hope your world falls apart one day
just so you know how it feels (how it feels)
i hope you one day feel the pain
just so you know how it feels (to feel the pain)
you'll never know, cause you dont care
cause you dont care, but i dont care.

i dont care
