Something in the World Is Right

by Andrew Morton   Jul 6, 2007

Living in this moment
makes it all worth while
just to see that i
can finally crack a smile
i dont need to fake it anymore
i can give up the act
because i have everything
that i could ever ask

[chorus]
i just want to thank (thank you)
for everything ive been through
a part of everything i am
putting where i stand (right now)
though i cant see the road ahead
it may be way out of sight
but it doesnt really matter
something in the world is right

for once, for once

you may have knocked me down
to where i couldn't get up
even through you tested me
after i had given up
i dont think you need forgiveness
because what you've given me
is what i've always longed for
is what i've always needed

is the piece of life
that ive come to love
the pain is in the past
and ive moved above

[chorus]
i just want to thank (thank you)
for everything ive been through
a part of everything i am
putting where i stand (right now)
though i cant see the road ahead
it may be way out of sight
but it doesnt really matter
something in the world is right

i can say the days of dread
are burried in the past
i can only pray this feeling
is gunna last (last..last)
i asked for a moment
just a little time
its about time its finally got it
its about time its finally mine

[chorus]
i just want to thank (thank you)
for everything ive been through
a part of everything i am
putting where i stand (right now)
though i cant see the road ahead
it may be way out of sight
but it doesnt really matter
something in the world is right
