To Whom It Concerns

by Andrew Morton   Jul 6, 2007

Mindless and numb
the man i've become
without a choice
thinking in poise

sweet, soft bitterness
dare i ask for forgiveness?
live and let be
forever i will see

nothings ever real
i wont bother to feel
my heart has grown old
forever scolded

dont make a sound
as we haven't found
a purpose, a reason
for love to be given

shared by all
given up by some
why is it over
before its begun

we're giving up time
slowly losing our mind
non-sense thoughts
worthlessly fought

state of consciousness
but completely worthless
there for one to yearn
to whom it concerns
