And Yet Again

by Falling Again   Jul 7, 2007

A burning desire, to ask
a question, I already Know
the answer to.

A love for you,
I so desperately tried
to push away.

A churning fear,
that this is all I'll ever be to you,
nothing more then flesh.

A self hatred, for being so cheap,
for letting myself fall this low again.

A deep despair,
that this is how it ends.
That this is all we'll ever be,
all I'll ever be to you.

Nothing more then a pretty face
that arises sad memories.
Nothing more then a ghost
that haunts you.
