The little things

by Kristin   Jul 8, 2007

Dancing barefoot in the rain
Walking backwards down the street
Climbing a tree in my pretty party dress
And ripping a hole in my new blue jeans
The little things are what I live for

The warm sun against my skin
A smile from a cute boy
A stranger saying hi
And wanting to be able to fly
The little things are what I live for

Swimming in a lake
Walking through the woods
Swinging on swings
And sitting in a tree
The little things are what I live for

Sitting in the garage drinking a beer with dad
Snowboarding down the hill, wind in my hair
Fighting over a window seat
And eating ice cream from twisty treat
The little things are what I live for

Singing in the shower
Shopping with mom
Boat rides around the lake
And watching rain storms out the door
The little things are what I live for
