Vibrant Red Silk

Vibrant red silk,
Covering my flesh.
Pain flowing, uncontrollably,
My heart, a mess.

Eyeliner smeared,
All over my cheeks.
I scream a thousand screams,
Still wrapped in red sheets.

It caresses my finger tips,
So soft to the touch.
How could something so beautiful,
Hurt me so much.

I can feel my heart breaking,
Ripping slowly inside.
This vibrant red silk,
Covers my pride.

Sweet, sweet agony,
Beautiful blood red pain.
Covering my body,
Like cold, thick rain.

Vibrant red silk,
Covering my flesh.
Pain flowing, uncontrollably,
My heart, a mess.
