You were a great mom
you calloused me all up
so i feel numb

you put your cigarettes and rum
in front of every one

at least you didn't single me out

the memories are great
i remember that one time you were so drunk
you made me lose my faith

and everything went crashing down
right along the side with your face

you deserve an award for doing the best you could
to get drunk every night
at lest you put effort in to something else
besides yelling at us
