Lone Wolf

Just like the lone wolf
I stand alone
No place to go
To call my own.

I left my pack
to find a new.
I find my life
quite askew

I found a pack I wanted to be
I tried for awhile with no gain,
They could not accept me as me,
so I left my head in shame.

So now I wander
trying to find
A place to suit me
with my own kind.

There are others like me
We do as we please
We're one in the same
till one makes his leave

We may be the same,
But we're still alone
no place to go
to call our own

No one I have,
no pack or others,
all this for
my selfish desires.

As I look back
My life was great
I gave it all up
In hope of more

I took it for granted,
went in search of more
now I am lost
Stuck in a war,

Where I am my enemy,
and I am my friend
I fight myself
to the bitter end,

My life is broken,
Into small pieces
When I see the end,
I'll know this will cease.

So just like the wolf
I am all alone
No place to go
To call my own

    The rhyming could have been better, otherwise but it was a great poem. the way you express your words is superb

    I gave it a four. Only because the rhyming was a little inconsistant. Other than that it was great and everyone has thier little inconsistancies. And if you get good enough you can have those and still get fives. Most people do that anyways but I'm strict. Wolfs are my favorite animals so it caught my eyes. ^_^
