He came to see me

He came to see me ,
and we talked for so long.
He told me so much ,
even the things he'd done wrong.
He said we should not see each other ,
but that he can't let me go.
He does not want to lose me ,
and his love for me he wants to show.
He told me so much about himself ,
about all the things he has done.
He did not have to tell me so much ,
but he did and he's still the one.
What I mean by that is ,
he's still the other that I love.
Ok so we may never be together ,
and things are bound to get tough.
But just like him I can't let go ,
the thought of losing him makes me cry.
I've tried so hard to let him go ,
but it hurts so much to say goodbye.
He stayed and talked almost all day ,
and when he left he said he loved me.
He said he'd be round again soon ,
but was not sure when it would be.
I don't care how long I have to wait ,
to see him again because I will wait forever.
I love him so very much ,
it makes me happy anytime we are together.
