If I could have my life again
I would do things
So very differently
I would say yes
The first time I was asked
Instead of waiting
For the fifth
Before confessing
That I love you

The stars shine for you
The birds sing for you
Flowers bloom for you
Life lives for you
The sun rises and sets for you
Your mother weeps for you
And my heart bleeds
My blood pours itself out
For you.
