Sanity angel

by Mikayla   Jul 14, 2007

Silent tears
She cries inside
She has learned no longer
In her can she confide

A target, one shot
A plot was ployed
One chance that is it
A girl is destroyed

Her insides are out
Her outsides are in
Her mourning now happens
Only within

She has given up on life
And everything she has known
To wish is now useless
And down she is blown

So down on her knees
She falls and she prays
Only wishing for
Happier days

Her prayers are not answered
So as time goes on
A teen is now nothing
Mind, body and soul gone

Smoke another blunt
Pop another pill
What has she done?
She is making herself ill

Cut the skin so deep
Then have another drink
Her mind has gone
She no longer thinks

She Is better than that
But its grip is too tight
Depression takes hold
And it is gonna win the fight

She is trying to stay sane
But sad is all she feels
She thinks this is the end
But she is just gonna have to deal

An angel deep inside
Awakens from her sleep
And tells her it is alright
That there is no need to weep

The angel wipes away her tear
She knows she has to come back
Her angel whispers in her ear
And the girls sanity stays intact

She throws away the bottle
And puts away the knife
She is all she is got
She has to keep her life

Her angel keeps her content
Made sure she never drowned
In all the tears she cried
But her angel never flipped her frown

Her childhood was very unhappy
She felt rights were some she could not do
3 words that me her so happy
All her angel whispered was I LOVE YOU
