Didn't Even Look Back - Part 2

Why did you walk away from me?
Could you not just look carefully?
I was caving in internally,
I am breaking down eternally.

If we had continued being friends,
You could've been here till time ends.
Because love is where friendship bends,
And after love, friendship rarely mends.

I thought I had done the right thing,
When denying you for a fling.
Did you think of all the pain it'd bring?
Did you realise your words would sting?

I still find it quite hard to believe,
That even you could be so naive.
I never thought you'd ever deceive,
Never thought you'd be the one to leave.

My mind and soul have lost track,
Is there something that I lack?
My coloured world went white and black,
Because you didn't even look back.
