I saw you only briefly
but still it was enough
i knew i had to meet you
but this was tricky stuff
i know the guy i was with
would play it hard to get
but i needed your number
your face was something i wouldn't forget
i told him what i was thinking
i thought he'd try to lie
but asking was the best thing
its something he didn't deny
he told you who i was
and what i wanted to know
so you passed on your digits
and then it was time to go
we ran in to you later
so i sat on the bench beside you
but you told me to come closer
thats when my attraction to you grew
but by the time i got home
my mind was still racing
i knew i needed more
thats when i started tracing
then i got a message
asking how i was
i was stoked to be put in that position
but wasn't sure what to say
