The Haunting (Undead Parade)

Suffocating all, nothing to grasp,
Feeling useless and unwanted.
Like we've always felt,
Our hearts are haunted.

Reaching into the depth of our minds,
Contemplating the reasons why.
Why we lost our hearts,
Why we had to die.

Calling the night to free itself,
Come out of the darkness.
Within all our fear,
Without all our stress.

Choking on the life we once had,
Remembering all the taunting.
Toying with our own minds,
Our forgotten souls are haunting.

Listen to me my dear,
Come and take my hand.
I'll show you a place,
That you can understand.

The chanting silence here,
Please, be not afraid.
For now you must join,
The Undead parade.

Leading through our past,
We prey on unwanted hearts.
Feasting on their sorrow,
Sinking our teeth in each part.

Suffocating all, nothing to grasp,
Feeling useless and unwanted.
Like we've always felt,
Our hearts are haunted.

    WOw, i thought that was amazing

    it was very dark and there was alot of emotion and a certain air to it that made it a good read

    Wow.. this is a really good wirte! its vry dark, but it was very well written i loved the staza:

    For now you must join,
    The Undead parade.
    That was so gripping and heart hitting, none of the rhyming felt forced, and it had a great flow. great write .
