I miss the times that were perfect
When nothing could tear us apart
I loved you more than anything else
So I awarded you with my heart.

The times when you would hold me
Like with me was where you belong
And I would lay there in your arms
Knowing that you weren't wrong

When everything was clear for me
And I knew exactly what's right
You might have had me at hello,
But definitely when you kissed me goodnight.

The time's when we would look at the stars
As I laid my head on your chest
I knew then that's where I wanted to be
For you were better than all the rest.

The times you said you loved me
Even though I already knew
And though I've tried so very hard
I'm not completely over you.
