Daddy's little girl

by Kristin   Jul 20, 2007

Riding side by side
In the old worn down jeep
Eyes open wide
I don't want to sleep

Being daddy's little girl
What a great time
The world just whirling and life in such a swirl
Through the dirt and the grime

Daddy and I would spend the days
Working in the garage and driving around
He'd take me places all the time like down to the bay
Or sometimes to that little pond.

My best friend for oh so long
He always knows just what to say
He's always been so strong
And teaches me new things everyday

Never yelling when I did something wrong
Just making me learn, and grounding me for not to long
He's never left my side, not once
So forever and always I will be his little girl.
