Now 3 years passed

Tears fall like rain
as the memories i recall...
now three years past
and still on this day i mourn.

Memories of what is lost
feelings are rekindled today
from moments frozen in time
a legacy is now passed on

A grandmother lost
but her heart and soul
are apart of her grand-daughter

Today a flood threatens to drown me
so many memories...reminders of what has passed
The tears she sheds from the happy moments
Yet the love of her grandmother she still feels
she feels so close and yet so far today
But we know that she still loves us and that is what i hold dear.

even without her here...full of life. i still feel her warmth and love. shes more alive today than at any other time
