Bring Me to Light

Walking in darkness
Searching for light.
Nothing makes sense.
What is wrong or right?

Reaching for a hand
To pull me from the deep.
Wake me from this dream
End this eternal sleep.

My heart beats slow
As my thoughts confuse.
What must I keep
What can I loose?

With a longing for truth
And a desire for love.
Please, God, save me,
Bring me above.

Internal wars
Are silently fought.
At rest and peace,
My soul is not.

Please take my hand
And never let go.
My thoughts race by
As my spirit grows.

    So, are you a pretty religious person? I admire that...I believe in God, and I love him, but I can only admit that religion is my most confusing subject...I can't figure anything out...
