Her Name

by Jamin Huchingson   Jul 23, 2007

This stress and pain
Comes from syllables in her name
The way it's articulated
Each letter situated
To roll off the tongue
It's got me sprung

As soon as I hear your name
It arouses memories in my brain
Because we were both one in the same
When I yelled and you yelled we both came

Memories of you staring at me
Wondering what your opinion would be
If I confessed that I was possessed
By your beauty and obsessed
With your persona; a unique personality

As I perceive the sound
Of your name, like a slave I'm bound
My walls crumble
I try to keep my head up as I stumble
Try to talk but just mumble

Your name is so easy to assimilate
With anything, because you were my fate
Say a word, and to you it would relate
Just wondering when you're going to except your fate

The stress and the pain
Comes from the syllables in her name
Because we used to be one in the same
The memories stimulate my brain
Remembering how I use to call your name
